Lerato Kobedi, a dedicated South African fashion designer with over a decade of experience, was born and raised in Johannesburg. She studied Fashion Design at the University of Johannesburg and has been driven by her dream to create fashion from a young age. In 2014, she founded Heavens Gait Clothing after leaving a career in retail to pursue her passion. Lerato draws inspiration from the elegance of the 1930s to 1950s, as well as the regal influence of the Elizabethan era, designing clothing that is both fashion-forward and timelessly modest. Her vision is to grow Heavens Gait Clothing into an internationally renowned brand, offering distinctive and sophisticated style to clients worldwide.
